- Main Gate: The entrance at 11839 Meadowglen Lane is manned 24 hours a day, seven days a week, ensuring continuous access and security for all residents and their visitors. When arriving at the main gate, please ensure that all visitors have their driver’s license ready for security personnel to verify and check them into the community.
- Westpark South Entrance: Located at 3409 ½ Silver Shire Lane, the Westpark South gate is staffed daily from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. This gate is primarily used for vendor access, so please direct all vendors to enter through this entrance.
- After 11:00 p.m., residents must use the main gate for entry and exit. This ensures heightened security during off-peak hours and helps maintain consistent traffic monitoring.
Speed Limit & Traffic Safety:
- For the safety of everyone in the community, the speed limit within Royal Oaks is 20 miles per hour. This applies to all vehicles, including electric cars and golf carts.
- Golf Cart Guidelines:
- Drivers must be 16 years or older and hold a valid driver’s license.
- Children are not permitted to drive a golf cart unless accompanied by an adult in the vehicle.
- Royal Oaks RCOA prioritizes the safety of all residents and pedestrians. Please be sure to follow all traffic signs and safety signals throughout the community. Speeding or reckless driving will be met with citations or other enforcement actions.
Royal Oaks Basketball Court & Community Park:
- Royal Oaks Basketball Court and Community Park are open daily for resident use from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. The basketball court operates on a “first-come, first-served“ basis. These amenities are intended to provide recreational opportunities for all residents. Please ensure that all activities are conducted in a safe and respectful manner, keeping in mind the enjoyment of others.
Pedestrian & Parking Considerations:
- Royal Oaks is a community designed to accommodate both pedestrians and drivers. It is essential that all residents and visitors remain mindful of pedestrians at all times. Please be especially cautious around areas such as the park, basketball court, and residential driveways, where pedestrian activity is frequent.
- Parking Guidelines:
- Do not park in a manner that blocks driveways, adjacent lots, or fire lanes.
- Park only in designated areas and ensure that your vehicle is properly aligned within parking spaces.
- Residents and guests are required to park in driveways between 2:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m.. This policy is mandatory to maintain proper access for emergency vehicles and to adhere to RCOA Traffic Policy and Enforcement guidelines.
- Obstructing driveways or fire lanes poses significant safety hazards and may result in fines.
