| Below is notification received from Harris County MUD #372. Dear Royal Oaks Residents, The current drought conditions are straining the City of Houston’s ability to provide water to all of its users, one of which is our community. As a result, the City has asked that we make efforts to reduce our water consumption, especially during peak consumption times (4 am to 9 am and 5 pm to 8 pm), and that our MUD District implement Stage 1 of the Drought Contingency Plan. In Stage 1, residents are asked to limit outdoor water consumption (irrigation, the filling of pools, washing vehicles, etc.) in the following manner: Even-numbered addresses limit outdoor water consumption to even numbered days between the hours of midnight and 6 am, and from 10 am to 6 pm. Odd-numbered addresses limit outdoor water consumption to odd-numbered days between the hours of midnight and 6 am, and from 10 am to 6 pm. While our area has had small bouts of rain recently, the overall drought conditions continue to impact the regional systems which supply us. Our Home Owners Association and Golf Course are also taking steps to help reduce overall water consumption. We ask that you please help to further reduce our community’s impact on our City’s infrastructure by ensuring your irrigation systems only run during the appropriate days and times outlined above, to check for and repair any leaks in your home’s pipes and irrigation systems, and to remain mindful of your consumption.
